Make a Sandwich. Make a Difference

1 in 4 Australian students at the schools we support need an Eat Up lunch. Hunger causes fatigue, poor concentration, and behavioural problems, making disadvantaged children fall further behind. You can help.

Workplaces

We receive a huge amount of positive feedback from small and large companies about our sessions which includes benefits such as:

  • contributing to such a meaningful cause

  • team building

  • meeting people from other teams

  • raising awareness

  • ease of Eat Up coming to you

  • fun and more!

From your end we need between 25-40 happy helping hands, the space and a car spot for all our colourful van characters. We come to you, set up on-site, provide an introduction to Eat Up, and guide your participants in making 1,000+ sandwiches for hungry school children in just 60 minutes!

Individuals and Families

Come along to one of our public sandwich-making events! These are fun, fast and very productive — we’re talking 5,000-sandwiches-in-an-hour productive.

You can come along on your own, or with family and/or friends. Kids under 12 are able to volunteer as well, so long as they’re accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Schools

Volunteer sandwich making is a great way for students to tangibly contribute to a very relatable cause. We run on-site sandwich making sessions for students in Grades 6 and upwards.

You provide the tables, volunteers and a parking space for our refrigerated van - and we’ll bring all of the equipment, ingredients and one of us to set up, pack down and facilitate the event.

Donate or Fundraise

Now more than ever, a little extra goes a long way. If you don’t have time or are unable to lend a hand through one of our events, donations are very much appreciated. You could also create your own fundraising campaign or choose to fundraise for us at your next fun run on Grassrootz!
